2025 Irrigation Season

The 2025 irrigation season is starting!

Our crew began operational testing on 3/24/2025.

The 2025 Irrigation season is expected to run through the last few weeks of October.

We remind you that you will need to reopen your irrigation valve once you are ready to start watering.

For information on how to open or close your irrigation valve, keep scrolling to view picture instructions.

NOTE: Irrigation water is considered "hard water" and is raw and untreated. Depending on the time of season, sediment may begin  to accumulate in your irrigation filter. This is a common cause of low  water pressure experienced near and beyond your irrigation filter.

It is recommended that you routinely clean your irrigation filter, every 2-4 weeks, throughout the irrigation season.

If  you have confirmed that your irrigation valve is open and you routinely clean your filter, but you still are experiencing low pressure OR no  pressure at your irrigation valve, please give us a call at (509)  735-2151, and a member of our staff will be able to discuss and assist  if needed.

Easements Located Within a Homeowner's Property Boundary

For some homeowner's lots, there may be a utility easement that falls within their property boundary. Should any maintenance be required within the easement located on a homeowner's property, any plants, trees, or shrubs on the homeowner's property may need to be removed in order for our crew to perform maintenance on the system.

Irrigation Valves

Lewis & Clark currently uses quarter turn irrigation valves for all service connections.

The valve seen in the top photo is at a 12 o'clock position indicating the valve is closed.

To open your valve at the start of the irrigation season, a 1/4 turn will put the valve at the 3 o'clock position turning it open.

Irrigation Service Boxes

IMPORTANT: There is no additional equipment permitted inside your irrigation service boxes. The extra space in these boxes is reserved for future metering.

If you are adding a timer to your sprinkler system, it should be set up on the outside of your irrigation box.

Lewis & Clark Irrigation Boxes have a plastic purple lid. They are located near the front or back corner of your property.

Irrigation Filters

                                      PLEASE CHECK IRRIGATION FILTERS REGULARLY!

Routine cleaning of your irrigation filters will help your system run at it's best.
